ObGynHospitalist.com was developed by Rob Olson, M.D. He remains actively involved as the site’s moderator and editor.
Rob is a full-time OB hospitalist practicing in a community hospital in Bellingham, Washington. After 28 years in a successful solo OB/GYN practice in Bellingham, Rob was drawn to the hospitalist sub-specialty because it allowed him to focus on labor and delivery. He sees the impact of his choice in improved patient care and safety.
Rob received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School and completed his residency at Los Angeles County Hospital/University of Southern California. He is Board Certified and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, and is the first President of the newly formed Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists.
